Registration: To bid you will need to register and create a user name and password. Do not wait until the last few hours of the auction to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if potential bidder misses opportunity to bid. Registration is available 24-7. Buyers Premium: A 10% buyer’s fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer’s Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00) Payment: Credit Card on file will be charged following the auction. Purchases over $5,000 must be paid for with wire transfer. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. Due Diligence: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest. Changes to the Auction: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice. Soft Closing: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all “dynamic” bids have been placed. Successful Bidder: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid. Item Pick Up: You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice at the time of pick up. If you need assistance with removal, loading, and transporting your items you need to make arrangements before you arrive. The auction company is not available to remove, load, or transport items. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may attach from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise not removed by bidder within five days of the pickup date will be forfeited with no refunds. Bidder shall have no claim to merchandise not removed by the above date. Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction, reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction. Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.
