The auctioneer's decision shall be final. 3) Terms of the sale are cash or check at time of sale unless other arrangements are made prior to the sale. Checks must be in U.S. funds. 4) All bulls are guaranteed breeders. Buyer shall let seller know within 8 months of purchase date if bull is unsatisfactory. Bulls will be returned at buyer's expense. Seller has right to semen test bulls found to be unsatisfactory. Seller will replace bull with one of equal value agreed on by both parties or refund buyer purchase price. 5) Seller may retain semen rights on specific lots as published in the catalog and/or announced from the auction block. 6) Each animal becomes the property of and therefore is also the risk of buyer as soon as it is sold except it shall be the responsibility of the seller to see that animals are fed and cared for free of charge to purchaser, until loaded for shipment or for 24 hours after the sale date, whichever occurs first. 7) Announcements from the auction block shall take precedence over material printed in catalog. 8) For those who cannot attend the sale, we will honor a telephone order and guarantee your phone purchase to meet your request when inspected personally by you. 9) Certificates of registry will be supplied by the seller to any buyer requesting them sale day. 10) We will abide by the rules set forth by the American Simmental Association. 11) As we have no control over the acts of God, we cannot guarantee these cattle against death loss, injury, or sickness. We guarantee cattle to be healthy sale day. 12) In case of DNA testing, Koepplin's Black Simmentals are in no way responsible for incorrect test results. Welcome Fellow Cattlemen, Another year has gone by & we're still going strong. We have to stay focused on our main objectives. We can't be distracted like our US Congress. What a waste. All is well here after Skye's knee surgery & my rotator cuff repair surgery & the passing of my MotherIn-Law who was such a sweet lady. Thanks to Marci & Skye for doing the buckets though Skye probably did 95 percent. The bulls have had all their spring & fall shots and have been poured twice. They had Ultra-7 One Shot, BovaShield Gold 5 & Express 5-HS, Poured with Clean Up II & Ivermax. For the most part they stayed healthy. Cattlemen keep in mind the dam, in my opinion, is 75% of that calf. When I select my planned mating I am trying to produce a daughter that is better than her mom. Ya can't look at the bull you purchase & expect every calf to look exactly like him. It just doesn't work that way in the cattle business. We are working hard on gentle cattle. Sometimes you use a sire for three years before something shows up. Needless to say they it's too late, so we have to move on. We need to go look at these sires in the A.I. Studs. I personally think there are too many that are there for their performance & calving ease and not selected for docility. Hope this find you & yours in good health.
