The approximate rectangular-shaped 5.85-acre former asphalt emulsions production facility is currently owned by COAC. All structures (ASTs, buildings) associated with former asphalt operations have been removed. The Property is currently a vacant lot. COAC acquired the Property from the Akron, Canton & Youngstown Company on March 23, 1966. COAC discontinued normal operation at the facility in 2006. COAC conducted former operations on the central portion of the Property; this portion of the Property is encompassed by a chain link fence. The eastern portion of the Property, outside the chain link fence, was not used for COAC operations and equipment, and is currently overgrown with dense trees and vegetation. The western portion of the Property, west of the chain link fence, was never used by COAC operations.
