Please join Jon & Jeanette Carter in celebration of the best four years of their lives and an important bittersweet announcement!
When Cottage at the Border opened in early 2015, Jon & Jeanette were in search of a way to make a living doing what they loved most - finding or creating unique home furnishings and accessories that they could offer to folks in Mount Airy and the surrounding area.
They sold A WHOLE LOT of just that kind of stuff! However, along with a fun small business, they also found something much better that neither of them had anticipated.
Namely, YOU!
Jon and Jeanette are both now in there 50s and without reservation, they can say that they have made more fascinating, lovable, wonderful and kind friends in these last four years than all of the rest of their lives combined!
For that, they would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of you that regularly visit CatB and share your stories, families and friendship with them. No words are adequate to explain how much it means to them!
December 31, 2018, Cottage at the Border will no longer continue to be a brick and mortar retail store. Instead they will offer their unique items on Facebook and our Cottage at the Border . com website. Hopefully, this does NOT mean goodbye, but rather, see you elsewhere!
In the meantime, here's something exciting that you may benefit from! Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM there will be a HUGE Inventory Liquidation Auction at CatB and you are formally invited to attend and bid on your favorite merchandise at pennies on the dollar.
