Auctioneer and Real Estate Broker John Tugwell, was born in Pitt County, NC. The son of a tobacco farmer, John has actively been involved with the farming & tobacco industries in eastern North Carolina as well as the Auction profession for over 40 years. John and his wife Sharyn, are both licensed North Carolina and Virginia Auctioneers and NC Real Estate Brokers.

Tugwell Auction & Realty is known well for their sales of Farm Land, Real Estate of all kinds & Farm Equipment. Along with John & Sharyn, the auction company employs Auctioneer Phil Page, Auctioneer & Real Estate Broker L.F. Worthington, Auctioneer Carl Miller, Auctioneer Kenneth Allen, Auctioneer Charles Mayo and our most recent newcomer is John & Sharyn’s son, Auctioneer Job Tugwell. Job, although continuing his college studies is actively assisting with sales. It is a joy to watch him follow in his parent’s profession.

Real Estate Broker Mike Wooten accurately performs all the clerking responsibilities during the auctions. Most of those who work with Tugwell Auction & Realty Company have been with the company over 25 years.

Tugwell Auction & Realty Company also has Rachel Whitehurst, Bonnie Allen, Kristi Joyner and Makena Joyner in our 34 ft. mobile office. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful to those who attend our sales.
