Established since 1971 in Guelph, Ontario, Bailey Auctions has proven prominence, honesty and goodwill. Known as one of the best auction houses in the Province, we realize that honesty and local goodwill are extremely important. Where the customer is king, and the community is your customer, reputation is everything.
With over 35 years of consistent weekly auction sales, we have now held in excess of 4000 auctions! Bailey Auctions is a home-grown, family business - with the appreciation of family values and needs a major part of our everyday business. Dan sr. has focussed on antiques, fine arts, and catalogued auctions.
Dan Bailey Jr., and brother Bob, lead the fast growing company through the times of change, and have fully prepared the firm for rapid growth and expansion. Dan prepares proposals, enters negotiations, and secures both short and long term; local and national contracts. The young men have also teamed up to bring the auction market some of the finest unclaimed freight auctions in the country. Of course, both sons are full time auctioneers.
Bailey Auctions is the firm of choice for many legal firms within our vicinity, many executors and trustees, as well as for many businesses in the region. We are the official auctioneers for the Guelph Police Services Board, Ducks Unlimited (Guelph), Hanover Police Services, West Grey Police Services, The Hanover and District Hospital Foundation, The Office of the Public Guardian and trustee, The National Wild Turkey Federation (Sauble Beach), Other Government branches, Several finance companies, freight companies, and most local, non-profit organizations. We are called upon to conduct auctions for the River Run Center, Wellington County Board of Education, Hospice, St. Joseph's Hospital and Home, Memorial Foundations, Fund raising groups, JDSS, and the like.
Bailey Auctions supports the community, and have been key sponsors for Hanover Sights and Sounds, Hanover Minor Hockey, Youth Roots, Waterloo Regional Kart Club, Local Schools, Eat and Learn Breakfast Club, plus many, many more.
