Bill Howze is the owner and principle auctioneer of The Renaissance Auction Group. He brings 36 years of experience to serving your auction marketing needs. Bill is one of approximately twenty auctioneers to have attained the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), Accredited Auctioneer, Real Estate (AARE) Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA), Certified Estate Specialist (CES) & Auction Technology Specialist (ATS) designations from the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) as well as having completed the classroom requirements for the Benefit Auction Specialist (BAS) designation. He is qualified to perform personal property appraisals in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP)
Mr. Howze served as the Supervisor for the Center For The Study Of Antiques And Collectibles (CSAAC) at Reading Area Community College (RACC)where he developed a variety of course studies including "An Introduction To Antiques and Collectibles" 101 & 201, "From Tudor To Today: The History Of Furniture", "At The Auction" and "Hands Of Clay: Pottery & Porcelain Revealed".
Bill revised the state mandated auction certification curriculum offered at RACC and served as Supervisor / Instructor for the Auction Certification Program during the curriculum's introduction. He is a member of the New York Auctioneers Association (NYAA), the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers (NJSSA) and The National Auctioneers Law License Officials Organization (NALLOA).
