The first step is for us to meet to evaluate the estate or items you wish to sell. We will offer advice as to how we feel it is best to liquidate your assets. You will then be presented an auction contract explaining the terms of the auction.

Eastern Shore Auctions is one of the few auction companies that still use direct mailings. We have an established list of auction attendees that have attended and purchased items from us in the past. The organization of your auction is something we take pride in. Proper preparation prior to the day of sale ensures auction day runs much more smoothly. That's why we are present at every stage of the auction process. We separate small items into table lots, those that we know can be sold individually, and box lots, contents that can be grouped together. Photographs are taken of your items during this organization process and downloaded to the websites to attract more bidders.
Our staff members used to assist us with preparation and on the day of the auction includes current and former Maryland State Troopers, a county Fire Marshall, a registered nurse and a school principal.
