Baer Auctioneers was founded in 1947 by Emmet Baer who graduated the same year from Reppert’s School of Auctioneering in Decatur Indiana. Jim Baer joined his father with the business after graduating from Reppert’s in 1961. Brothers Ken, Bill and Wade Baer, all graduating from Repperts in 1983, 1989 and 2002 respectively are the third generation taking the business into the future.
