Bidders are solely responsible for packing, loading, and moving all items purchased without assistance from Sohn & Associates, Ltd. Serial Number 4 1875 is stamped in black ink on the back of the peghead. This guitar features gold finish on the top, back, and neck. Much of this gold color is worn off the playing surface on the back of the neck. The side jack has been removed and an oversized cover plate installed in that area and a new jack hole and jack were installed in the front of the guitar between the tone and volume knobs. The bridge and bridge mounting studs have been replaced. The bridge pickup volume and tone pot capacitor have been replaced, the nut has been replaced, the neck binding is missing on the bass side from the nut to the middle of the third fret, the electronics are dirty and need to be cleaned, two back plate fastening screws are missing, and there is a spot of loose binding on the lower bout bordering an area where the gold finish has flaked off. The bridge is leaning forward and needs work to be property intonated. The guitar shows significant playing wear and lacquer checking. In other respects it conforms to the typical specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with single cutaway body, mahogany neck and back, carved maple top, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with white binding and pearloid trapezoid shaped inlays, white binding on the top edge of the body, pearl Gibson and silkscreened Les Paul Model peghead logos, Kluson deluxe tuners, two white plastic covered single coil soap bar P-90 pickups, single ply white pickguard, low top gold color barrel shaped tone and volume knobs, and original hard shell case with brown exterior and pink plush interior lining."
