Lewis Auction & Estate Services - Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. A valid driver license is required to register & receive a bid number. By registering and receiving a buyers / bid number you agree to all terms and conditions of Lewis Auction & Estate Services.
2. All purchases must be paid for auction day & within 1 hour after auction has ended. Payment can be made by cash, local check, or credit card.
3. There is a 3% Buyer's Premium on this auction. The Buyer's Premium is waived if the purchaser pays cash on pick up. Prior arrangements MUST be made with the auctioneer BEFORE the close of the auction.
4. Sales tax will be collected unless a valid Texas Resale Certificate or Farm Exemption Certificate is presented at check-in. The item(s) must be agriculture or forestry related, and qualify according to the Texas Comptrollers Office list.
5. All items are sold as is - where is - with no warranties or guarantees. It is up to you the bidder / buyer to inspect all items carefully before bidding and to use your own judgment as to the value & condition of the item. Lewis Auction & Estate Services makes no guarantee of condition, value or year model on any non-titled items or any items sold without a title. Lewis Auction & Estate Services does not guarantee year model on water crafts, all terrain vehicles (ATV), sport utility vehicles, motorcycles or trailers. No refunds.
6. The auction company is not responsible for items advertised that do not make the auction sale.
7. All sales must go thru auction company. Failure to do so may cause loss of buying and selling privilege.
8. The auction company is acting as an agent for the seller only.
9. Unless advertised as an absolute auction, the seller or agent reserves the right to bid. Absolute auction means all items sell regardless of price.
10. State law requires us to not leave titles open on titled items. There is a $15 paperwork fee. This is not a tax, title license& registration fee. You must still take and have registered yourself. This $15 fee only covers the paperwork on our end and mailing fees. Titles will be mailed or can be picked up 20 days after auction.
11. All items MUST BE REMOVED on the day of the auction, unless arrangements have been made with Lewis Auction & Estate Services for pick-up at a later date. Load out of large items cannot begin until the conclusion of the auction, unless permission is given by auction staff. All items MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL before load-out begins.
12. The auction company is not responsible for theft - fire - accidents or injuries. You agree to enter at your own risk. Adults are responsible for any person, child or minor with you. If you bring a minor with you, keep them with you at all times, keep them off of equipment & auction items, and remember the auction staff are not babysitters. No pets unless the animal is a certified assistance or therapy service animal.
13. Announcements made auction day supersede all other agreements. Be on time so you can hear the announcements made on auction morning.
14. By attending our auctions, you agree to abide by all terms & conditions of this auction company.

The Wallace family home is being sold, and Lewis Auction & Estate Services has been asked to clear out all personal items...furniture, appliances, household items, & tools.
There are TWO INCREDIBLE STOVES in this auction.
The first is a 1932 Magic Chef in "old ivory with a green trim".
The second is a 1950's O'Keefe & Merritt. This is the original stove from the home.

This stove has been in use in this home since the late 1960's. Working condition, though it does need some minor work. One of the warmer doors (second from the top on the right side) won't stay up.... 2 1950's O'Keefe & Merritt Stove-Oven 1950's O'Keefe & Merritt. This is the original stove from the home. It was taken out of service and moved to the workshop for storage. Still in working condition, it needs a serious cleaning. Missing one knob on the right side. 3 1960's Western Style Bedroom Set King size headboard, chest, desk, chair, dresser with mirror, and corner desk with hutch. Well made, solid wood construction. 4 Two Small Child Figures - Gold Foil Two plaster figures, approximately 12" tall, covered in burnished gold foil. 5 Decorative Wood Wall-Mount Rack Can be used for mail, magazines, or floral displays. Solid wood construction. 6 Two Statues Women With Grapes & Jug Two tall statues, approximately 20" tall. 7 Exel Exercise Company Crunchboard Home workout system. 8 1970's Zenith Chromacolor II Mod Television Set No...the TV set doesn't work...but these sets have become a popular item for the crafty DIY crowd. Beautiful 70's mod cabinet. 9 Vintage Wood Spindle-Back Bar Stool w Green Seat Bar stool in nice condition. All wood with a metal foot rail. 10 Vintage Wood Spindle Back Bar Stool w Yellow Seat Bae stool in nice condition. All wood with metal foot rail. 11 Small Cane-Back Settee There's a small damaged spot on the cane on one side...otherwise the settee is in nice condition. 12 Early American Style Wood Desk with Glass Top Beautiful, well made, wood desk. Measures approximately 30" x 46" x 18" 13 Full Size Sleeper Loveseat This sleeper loveseat was originally part of a larger sofa/loveseat set. We are left with a full sleeper with one arm. Good condition overall. Very little use on the sleeper. 14 Large Area Rug Rug could use a good steaming to clean and reflatten the edges. Approximately 8' x 10', in good condition overall. 15 Vintage Wood Desk - Black Vintage desk, approximately 40+ years old...all wood construction...painted black sometime in the distant past. Shelves on the left, drawers on the center and right. Measures approximately 29" x 39" x 20" 16 Natural Gas Heater with Grates Very old natural gas heater. IT needs a good cleaning, but this natural gas heater is still in excellent condition. 17 Solid Wood Buffet with Wrought Iron Accent Beautiful, well made buffet cabinet, painted black. Measures approximately 36" x 73" x 17" 18 Small White TV Stand Cabinet Two glass doors, two shelves, distressed finish. Measures approximately 30" x 37" x 20" 19 Small White TV Cabinet This small, white, TV cabinet has been repurposed for storage. Measures approximately 30" x 37" x 20" 20 Plastic Electric Water Cooler Working condition unknown. Needs a good cleaning. 21 French Provincial Writing Desk Cupboard This beautiful multi-use piece was kept in the master bedroom, and was used for display, a writing desk, and linen storage. PAinted a pale yellow creme. 22 Small Vintage Dressing Table & Mirror The dressing table is incomplete, missing the center shelf, but it's in good condition overall, and would make a lovely project. 23 Thin Profile Vintage Armoire Solid Wood All wood, vintage, thin profile armoire. 24 Vintage French Provincial Chair A lovely chair with pink tufted backing, and a floral design. 25 Kitchen Table & Four Chairs w/ Two Leafs Table and chairs. Two leafs allow the table to seat 6. Set comes with four comfortable chairs. 26 Wrought Iron Metal Stool w/ Wood Seat The wrought iron stool was originally a chair with a removeable back. The back of the chair was lost long ago. The seat is cracked and need to be replaced and padded. 27 Three Glass Light Fixture Shades Two matching light amber and white, one vintage clear glass with metal trim. 29 Mixed Lot Cut Glass Vase Ashtray, Finials The green ashtray has a small chip on one corner. 32 Two Chinese Figures on Wood Bases Not sure what these are made of...might be highly detailed cast resin. 34 Mixed Lot Potter Pieces A few of the pieces have some minor wear. A short period after the vehicle was purchased, the owner replaced these with custom wheels and thin profile tires...so these tires have seen very little use. |
