Eastern Shore Auctions goal is to make the auction process as easy and enjoyable as possible for you. Once you decide to use our business for your auction needs, sit back and relax; leave the work to us.
The first step is for us to meet to evaluate the estate or items you wish to sell. We will offer advice as to how we feel it is best to liquidate your assets. You will then be presented an auction contract explaining the terms of the auction.
We will discuss an advertising plan to effectively promote your auction. In addition to advertising in local and national publications, Eastern Shore Auctions uses a variety of additional means to market your auction.
Eastern Shore Auctions is one of the few auction companies that still use direct mailings. We have an established list of auction attendees that have attended and purchased items from us in the past. Additionally, we send email notifications to a large number of auction attendees and interested buyers. Other advertising methods include:

Catalogue of items (depending on auction)
Private showings.
The organization of your auction is something we take pride in. Proper preparation prior to the day of sale ensures auction day runs much more smoothly. That's why we are present at every stage of the auction process. We separate small items into table lots, those that we know can be sold individually, and box lots, contents that can be grouped together. Photographs are taken of your items during this organization process and downloaded to the websites to attract more bidders.
Our staff members used to assist us with preparation and on the day of the auction includes current and former Maryland State Troopers, a county Fire Marshall, a registered nurse and a school principal.

Our success as an auction company is evident in the sales of real estate and personal property and through the confidence and trust instilled in us by our customers. We combine prior knowledge, expertise and over eighty years of auction experience of O.J. and Ron Brittingham to effectively market properties for our clients.
